Overview

I am supporting a professional services business with an exciting Senior Financial Planning Administrator role. This will be suited to someone with prior financial planning or wealth management experience looking for progression into a senior administration role in a structured and professional environment.

Description

The Senior Financial Planning Administrator duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with consultants to enable them to focus on the delivery of advice to clients, and anticipating and supplying what they or the client may need
  • Provide input where appropriate and when requested, and provide any training, direction and support for others where needed
  • Be a point of contact for clients, colleagues and external links
  • Help to manage the consultant diary to help ensure the most effective use of their time
  • Communications with clients, as appropriate, ensure that they are accurate and are fit for purpose
  • Deal with all aspects of the new business process and ongoing servicing of clients\' plans, liaising with colleagues in other service lines and product providers as appropriate
  • Work closely with technical support to gather accurate information required for prepping / planning cases
  • Proactively get involved and contribute ideas as part of continuous improvement
  • Any other ad hoc duties
Profile

A successful Senior Financial Planning Administrator should have:

  • A strong understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional services environment
