Qualifications

• 6–8 years’ experience as an accountant.
• Background in banking or financial services preferred.
• Ability to work proactively and independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate statutory accounts and financial statements.
• Lead year-end processes, including audit preparation.
• Manage accounting for financial instruments.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards

Proven experience in statutory reporting

Excellent communication skills

Hands-on experience with ledger systems

Experience with SQL or other data analytics tools

Education

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
