Our client is a well-established UK banking group with a strong reputation for integrity, customer focus, and responsible lending. Operating across multiple specialist divisions, the bank combines commercial agility with the scale and stability of a regulated financial institution. You'll be joining a collaborative, values-led environment where finance plays a critical role in driving both customer and regulatory outcomes. Leading a small team of two, you'll report into the Division Finance Director, with strong C-suite exposure.

  • Own budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring clarity around variances and financial impacts.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Finance, FP&A, Customer Resolutions, and Risk.

  • Partner with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to support regulatory engagement and responses.
  • Develop, document, and embed redress calculation methodologies aligned with programme and regulatory needs.
  • Collaborate with audit and assurance partners to validate assumptions and ensure transparency.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; comfortable interpreting large data sets.
  • Strong communicator and influencer, able to operate effectively at senior level.
  • Adaptable, commercially aware, and comfortable leading through change.
  • Experience in remediation, financial modelling, or regulatory reporting advantageous.

  • Competitive salary £90,000 - £100,000.
  • Discretionary annual bonus.
  • Matched pension scheme.
  • Private medical and dental cover.
  • Hybrid working (3-4 days in office, London or Doncaster).
  • High-profile role with exposure to executive leadership and regulatory stakeholders.
