Job description

Equifind are delighted to be partnering with a growing real estate business in the heart of London, who are looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager.

Alongside the usual corporate reporting duties, the role will also require client facing responsibilities and as such we are looking to speak to qualified accountants who have a true passion for finance and business partnering.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to take on new responsibilities within the wider business, including the operations, development and investment teams and long term, you could progress to Head of Finance.

About the role
  • You will report directly to the Head of Finance and will have 5 indirect reports who are part of an outsourced provider.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of internal monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and consolidated reporting.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of external client monthly & quarterly management accounts/reporting, ensuring Client Investors are satisfied with reporting requirements and variance analysis
  • Assists Head of Finance with preparation of budgets and forecasts on a monthly/quarterly basis for inclusion in board level reporting
  • Assists the investment team with asset level business plans and forecasts
  • Liaise with auditors and prepare consolidated and individual company annual statutory accounts
  • Opportunity to understand and assist in the underwriting of new investments, and exposure to financial modelling
  • Opportunity to get involved in development reporting including drawdowns, cashflows and wider board level reporting
About you
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 2 years PQE in industry experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with effectively with different business heads in driving improvements to finance processes
  • Experience of identifying and recommending process/system improvements
