Salary: £58,000 - £65,000 Per Annum

Orka Financial is working with a global consumer goods business based in Slough (hybrid) to recruit an experienced, commercially minded accountant to into this Senior Finance Analyst Position. This team has a wealth of experience offering an excellent place for an ambitious, commercially minded finance professional to develop & progress. This role will offer direct line management to a small team of analysts whilst also giving exposure to senior stakeholders throughout the business and requires a candidate with excellent leadership, communication and business partnering skills. Previous direct line management is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver meaningful value adding analysis and recommendations which highlight key trends and issues in operational performance to support strategic goals and budget setting processes.
• Provide high quality financial guidance to internal and external stakeholders based on commercial insight, market context and business strategy to support decision making and identify commercial opportunities.
• Working closely with the Head of Department, you will play a key role in transforming finance across the business.
• A senior leader within the Finance team dedicated to supporting, challenging and improving commercial focus.
• Managing, leading, coaching and developing a small team.
• A true Business Partner to Sales, Operations and Marketing teams to improve business performance and profitability.

Profile:

• Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA
• 5 years experience in Business Partnering / Commercial Finance
• Experience in line management
• Experience in an FP&A environment dealing with variance analysis reporting
• Experience working to strict deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills
• Power BI Desktop report building skills (preferable)
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• ‘Can do’ attitude and Strong team ethic
• Methodical thinker working well under pressure
• Excellent organisation skills

Salary:

£58,000 - £65,000 + benefits
