An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Fee Earner to join a well-established and reputable family law team in Nottingham. Applications are welcomed from both qualified Solicitors and Chartered Legal Executives. All levels of experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a varied caseload of both legal aid and private family matters , including : Divorce and separation

Financial remedies

Private law children matters

Domestic abuse cases
  • Run your own files independently, with the ability to undertake your own advocacy
  • Deliver a high standard of client care, ensuring sensitivity and empathy, particularly when dealing with vulnerable clients
  • Maintain excellent technical knowledge and keep up to date with legal developments
  • Work proactively and efficiently to manage deadlines and client expectations
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties, both in writing and in person
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and maintain a practical, friendly, and commercially aware approach
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (all levels of PQE considered)
  • Experience managing a caseload within family law, including both public and private matters
  • Strong advocacy skills and confidence attending court
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
  • A client-focused approach with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
