HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Enterprise Sales Executive to join our team, focusing on selling Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions to the regulated market with a specific focus on the financial services market. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and closing high-value opportunities with clients through a combination of cold outreach and inbound lead conversion.

VARIED DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify, engage, and close new enterprise opportunities within regulated industries including banking, legal, accountancy, property, fintech, and corporate services.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and demos that communicate SmartSearch’s value proposition.
  • Build and manage a strong enterprise pipeline, accurately forecasting against ambitious sales targets.
  • Negotiate complex commercial agreements at C-suite and senior decision-maker level.
  • Collaborate with Partner Strategy and Marketing teams to create impactful co-branded campaigns and go-to-market plays.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?
  • ~5 years in enterprise SaaS sales, ideally within RegTech, AML, compliance, or adjacent financial SaaS solutions.
  • Strong network of AML SaaS and compliance technology partners, with proven success in building pipelines.
  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding quotas in direct enterprise sales
  • Skilled in consultative sales, solution selling, and influencing senior decision-makers.
  • Commercially astute, driven, and collaborative — able to work autonomously while thriving in a growth-focused team.
  • In-depth knowledge of AML regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience of using MEDDIC, Challenger or SPIN methodologies
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level executives
  • Proficiency in CRM software, preferably Hubspot
  • Able to attend the Ilkley office once a month
