A leading energy consultancy is seeking a Senior Energy & Carbon Consultant to manage a portfolio of sustainability projects. This home-based role requires occasional travel across the UK, ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant field, advanced skills in Excel and Word, and experience in managing complex energy contracts. In return, the consultancy offers a competitive salary of £55,000 and extensive employee benefits including flexible working arrangements, a gym contribution, and private medical insurance.
This home‑based role requires occasional travel to the office in Preston (Fulwood) and regular travel across the UK to client sites. A car allowance will be provided, and sustainable travel options are encouraged wherever suitable.
The Senior Consultant is required to independently manage a portfolio of contracts and be competent in delivery of all sustainability, net zero and carbon related services. In this role you will:
An independent individual capable of self‑motivation and managing priorities as part of a remote team.
UK Driving Licence and availability of a car.
A degree in a relevant subject or with relevant subsequent experience supported by relevant qualifications.
Highly proficient in Excel and Word, and proficient in PowerPoint. Familiar with Microsoft Teams, and ideally some exposure to project management software, Gantt charts, building modelling software, or other workflow management software.
A working understanding of UK regulation and regulated schemes.
