Qualifications

• Experience with system level design and relevant system components.
• Wide base of knowledge across mechanical, electrical, software, and controls.
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging and supporting team members.

Responsibilities

• Define and document system technical and functional requirements.
• Design system architecture for car and rig systems.
• Oversee integration, detail design, and testing of system elements.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges during testing and development.
• Define lifecycle testing, service, and maintenance requirements.
• Complete analysis to improve performance, reliability, and cost.

Skills

F1, motorsport or high-end automotive systems experience

System level design experience

Good working knowledge of data logging equipment

Knowledge of electrical harness layout

Communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)

Mentoring abilities

Education

Degree in an Engineering related subject or relevant experience
