Job summary

A leading fashion business in the UK is seeking a commercially astute Senior Merchandiser for a 12-month maternity cover. In this pivotal role, you will own the trading performance across the UK e-commerce channel, driving seasonal planning and inventory strategy. You will work collaboratively with Buying, Digital Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure a compelling online proposition. Your responsibilities include managing trade strategy, assortment planning, promotional strategies, and guiding performance reviews during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the seasonal e-commerce trade strategy, delivering against sales, margin, stock and conversion targets.
• Lead OTB management, assortment planning and in-season trading decisions to maximise sell-through and stock efficiency.
• Shape category-level merchandising, pricing and NOS strategies, balancing trend, availability and commercial performance.
• Manage the online product and launch calendar, overseeing seasonal, replenishment and in-season buys.
• Define and execute promotional and markdown strategies, supporting peak periods and key fashion moments.
• Lead weekly trade meetings and performance reviews, translating data into clear, commercial actions and insight.
