I am pleased to be representing a medium sized, ecological consultancy based in Bristol, who are looking to appoint a Senior Ecologist into their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ecologist to deliver high-quality ecological services, whilst working alongside other experienced and enthusiastic professionals. This company promotes career progression and works closely with their staff to understand their career goals and structures a plan to achieve them.

What you will need
  • Experience in leading ecological surveys and assessments
  • Confidence in project management, client liaison and team leading
  • Experience in writing fee proposals and ecological reports including: EcIA, HRA, and mitigation strategies
  • Experience mentoring junior staff (desired but not essential)
  • Ability to undertake technical reviews of PEAs and ecological assessments
  • Experience mentoring junior staff (desired but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experienced with GIS and data analysis tools
  • GCN or Bat license
