Qualifications

• At least one year clinical practice.
• Knowledge of assessment tools relevant to acquired and progressive neurological disorders in adults.
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions relevant to acquired and progressive neurological disorders in adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuing care for patients with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
• Manage clinical caseload independently and effectively.
• Develop clear individual care plans based on clinical guidelines.

Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Experience of supervising junior band colleagues

Education

Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree qualification or equivalent

Health & Care Professions Council registration number

Successful Completion of RCSLT dysphagia competencies

Successful completion of NQP competencies

Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
