What you\'ll be doing

As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will have the following accountabilities:

• Lead the commercial management of major or complex projects from inception to completion, including tendering, negotiating, and agreeing contracts
• Manage contracts, costs, and supply chain relationships to keep projects on track
• Oversee preparation of estimates, tenders, and monthly commercial reports
• Provide strong leadership to your commercial team—supporting, mentoring, and developing future talent
• Ensure compliance with governance standards, contract law, and industry best practice
• Represent Balfour Beatty\'s commercial interests with clients, stakeholders, and partners
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
• Drive procurement strategies and resource planning

Who we\'re looking for

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• Chartered Member or Fellow of RICS, ICES, or CIOB (or working towards), with CPD maintained
• CSCS Card (Professionally Qualified Person)
• Proven experience in commercial management, client liaison, project management, and team leadership
• Strong understanding of the construction industry, commercial awareness, flexibility, and negotiation skills
