Job description

The Commercial Manager is a key business partner across the agency, working with:

  • Client teams to ensure accounts are compliant and profitable;
  • Product teams to ensure proper project scoping;
  • The Growth Team to provide compelling responses to new business proposals.

As part of a proactive Commercial unit, you will deliver consistent commercial analysis and support, targeting margin growth and incremental revenue opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Business partnering with client leaders and product teams, assisting with contract negotiations and setting terms of business to reflect scope and ensure profitability;
  2. Coordinating monthly revenue forecasts and analyzing variances;
  3. Understanding and communicating client terms and conditions;
  4. Preparing quarterly reports for clients and stakeholders;
  5. Managing ad-hoc commercial projects;
  6. Supporting commercial training across the agency;
  7. Reviewing and approving scopes of work for additional services;
  8. Managing scope creep and ensuring contract compliance;
  9. Summarizing contract terms to identify growth opportunities;
  10. Supporting RFI/RFP processes for prospective clients;
  11. Providing commercial proposals and reviewing client contracts;
  12. Reporting on client profitability and supporting staff utilization and project profitability.
