Job description

Job: Senior Commercial Finance Manager (12 Month FTC) Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire Salary: £65k-£75k Length of contract: 12 Months

My client is seeking an immediately available/short notice Commercial Finance professional to join their team on a temporary basis for 12 months. This is an established brand based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities include:
  • Business partnering to board level and senior executives, being a trusted advisor, challenging performance and aligning commercial strategy with financial outcomes
  • Responsible for financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and margin analysis
  • Take initiative on process improvement across the business
  • Supporting the delivery of multi-year plans, building forecasts using trends and analysis
  • Building models assessing P&L impact of pricing, discount strategies and commercial initiatives
  • Managing a small team, with tailored growth plans for their development
Ideal candidate:
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Candidate
  • Proven track record in fast-paced environments
  • At least 7 years' experience in FP&A/commercial roles
  • Highly analytical and able to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to manage teams and mentor junior members of staff
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Comfortable with SAP

The client is offering hybrid work (3 days in office).
