Job overview

This post is for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine. This is a permanent post offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Medic to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care in Broomfield Hospital.

Main duties of the job
  • Contribute to the Emergency service at Broomfield Hospital – participate in the initial assessment, treatment, referral, and disposition of patients attending the Emergency Department.
  • Work a shift pattern including weekends and night shifts; a tailored job plan to personal needs can be discussed at the interview.
  • Develop skills in managing the department to avoid unnecessary patient waits and maintain good clinical care to all patients.
  • Participate in clinical audit and activities.
  • Participate in continuing professional development; study leave is actively encouraged and there is significant financial support for appropriate courses.
