A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow for a fixed-term position covering maternity leave. The candidate will join the Paediatric Medical Staffing team, focusing on children aged 0-16 and participating in both inpatient care and emergencies. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to join our Paediatric Medical Staffing team as a Senior Clinical Fellow - Babies, Children’s, & Young People. The role is available for a fixed term posting, with 1 position available as maternity leave cover to commence from January 2026. The post attracts a rota supplement of 50% of basic salary for all out of hours working, and you will be working 1:3 weekends with less than 48 hours per week on average. The role includes time for other developmental activities such as quality improvement projects, audits, personal research, and at least three hours of protected educational sessions per week. Although not officially recognised training posts, these roles provide the same training opportunities, study leave entitlements, and supervision as training staff, and the Trust has a strong track record of staff from these posts progressing onto National Training Programmes.
We also work closely with the community teams at St Michael's and St Anne's Hospital. The department operates on a split rota with a separate team of registrars and trainees on the neonatal and paediatric units.
We require the candidate to commence at the earliest opportunity, with 1 position available as maternity leave cover from January 2026.
