The role
  • As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will primarily deliver Flood Risk and Drainage strategies to support planning for our clients.
  • You will also progress detailed drainage and highways design post-planning to technical approval and construction.
  • Prepare Technical Highways drawings (e.g., preliminary general arrangements, S278, and S38 designs) following National Standards and Council guidelines.
  • Develop Drainage strategies to support planning applications, considering SuDS principles.
  • Prepare Flood Risk Assessments to support planning applications.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, project team members, and clients.
  • Undertake site visits.
  • Support team growth through Business Development and social events.
  • Assist with the development of junior staff.
What you need to succeed
  • Hold a relevant Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Have 3 or more years of relevant experience within the field of Infrastructure/Civil Engineering.
  • Be capable of working independently to deliver engineering solutions to a high standard.
  • Be able to prioritize workload and manage the delivery of multiple projects to defined deadlines.
  • Have a commercial knowledge of the industry and manage financial and time considerations within a project.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients and project team members.
