Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role within the Project Management.
• Take control of the Project site.
• Coach an existing team of Setting out and Section Engineers.
• Report inconsistencies in information to the Project Manager.
• Ensure ITPS are in place for all activities.

We’relookingtorecruitaSeniorEngineerthathasafullunderstandingofthetechnicalrequirementsandtechniquesofsettingoutaswellasbeingabletolead,mentorandcoachanexistingteam.

AbouttheRole

AstheexperiencedSeniorEngineer,youwillhavethefollowingduties:

• PlayapivotalrolewithintheProjectManagement
• TakecontroloftheProjectsite
• CoachanexistingteamofSettingoutandSectionEngineers
• Checktechnicaldrawings,specificationsandreportinganyissuestotheengineeringteam.
• Ensuringthatinformationisavailableondrawingsinaccordancewiththeprogramme.
• ReportanyinconsistenciesintheinformationprovidedtotheProjectManager
• UndertakeQuantitytakeoffformaterialsfromdrawings.
• MaintainaDailysitediaryandcarryoutdailyHealthandSafetyInspections
• Raisesanytechnicalqueriesandliaisewithdesignertoresolve
• Ensurethatall(ITP’s)areinplaceforallactivities
• Produces/ReviewsMethodStatementsandRiskAssessments&ensurethatSafeSystemsofWorkareadheredto

ForthisroleitsessentialthatyouhaveaminimumofaHNDandideallyDegreelevelqualificationinCivilEngineering.Asthisrolewillbeworkingonaliveconstructionsiteyouwillalsohaveaminimumof5yearssiteexperienceaswellashavingaSSSTS/CSCS,SMSTS&FirstAidcerts.
