Job summary

Job responsibilities
  • Support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care.
  • Provide a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting on care and updating care plans.
  • Implement and monitor person‑centred care plans, undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
  • Act as a key point of contact with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and any concerns or complaints are escalated.
About you
  • Have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Have 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
Other requirements
  • DBS Disclosure check – the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Current UK professional registration.
