A leading care provider in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks a Senior Care Assistant to work nights, guiding a team in delivering compassionate care to residents. The role includes creating personalized care plans, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records. Applicants should hold or pursue a Level 2 qualification in Adult Care and possess skills in person-centered care. Full training and various benefits are provided.
About The Role: This is a full-time role working nights only, 8pm – 8am. Full flexibility is required. As a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One, kindness is at the core of everything you do across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will help residents with dignity, security and independence, and support their families by delivering personalised care plans.
You will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintain the highest standards of care, and influence the rest of the team. You may assist with activities such as helping someone use a walking frame, supporting residents at mealtimes, or speaking with families. You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager and participate in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication.
One of your key responsibilities is to maintain accurate records of your work and build strong relationships with your team.
