A leading care provider is looking for a Senior Care Assistant at their Waterhouse Manor Care Home in Peterborough. Responsibilities include supporting the care team, monitoring residents' wellbeing, and ensuring care plans are updated. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in care and at least 2 years of experience. This is a role for a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Waterhouse Manor Care Home in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care to the residents, while also taking on supervisory duties and helping to develop the care staff.
The Senior Care Assistant will be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting their care, and ensuring that care plans are updated accordingly. They will be involved in the person-centered care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the plans. The role will also involve supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.

Shift details: Alternating weekend 8am to 8pm – 12 hour shifts
