Overview

About The Role: This is a full-time role working from 8am - 8pm or 8pm to 8am – 38.5 hours per week. Full flexibility is required.

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will contribute to Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes, helping residents and their families with personalised care plans and support.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement care to give residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
  • Know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Demonstrate kindness in all interactions, including activities such as helping with mobility aids, meals at the end of life, and communicating with families.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide physical and mental stimulation through activities; administer medication where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and build strong team relationships.
Qualifications
  • Ideally, Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care and willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Strong positive energy, ability to get along with people, good record keeping, time management, and a caring, considerate communication style.
