Overview

Senior Calibration Technician

Location: Brighton (easily accessible by train)

Salary: £35k-£40k

Hours: Monday-Friday, Full-Time

Start Date: ASAP

Type: Permanent

Our market leading client is seeking a proactive Senior Calibration Technician to work at their laboratory facility with a customer-focused approach and high standards within calibration and metrology. Responsibilities
  • Proficient in calibrations across multiple areas with minimal supervision
  • Design and modification of rigs and piping systems to suit individual working instruction requirements
  • Participate in competency assessments and internal investigations and UKAS audit visits
  • Ensure calibration equipment is fit for purpose and fully functional
  • Generate certificates to a high level of first-time-right success rate
  • Work in support of ISO17025 accreditation and ISO9001 certification
  • Achieve Master level competency in at least one area of calibration
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
  • Undergraduate Degree – STEM
  • 3+ years of Calibration and Metrology experience
  • Advanced vocational skills
