Senior Buyer - £45-60k + Benefits

Responsibilities

• Take charge of sourcing critical components from global suppliers for a leading manufacturer in the oil, gas, and precision engineering sector.
• Lead the procurement of precision-machined parts, sourcing across international markets to secure best value while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Operate with autonomy and influence long-term procurement strategy without corporate red tape.

What you'll need

• Strong, proven negotiation skills
• International procurement experience - across Asia, Europe, or North America
• Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems
• Experience sourcing precision-machined components
• Based within 40 minutes of Knutsford and open to occasional overseas travel

Desirable

• A degree in engineering, supply chain or similar
• Experience in oil & gas, valves, or exotic materials
