Job summary

A recruitment consultancy in Scotland seeks a Compliance Support Specialist to provide compliance and administrative support across fund and fiduciary business. Job description

This role will provide compliance and administrative support across fund and fiduciary business, focusing on onboarding, monitoring, and ensuring adherence to AML/CFT obligations. The successful candidate will also contribute to policies, procedures, and wider business support initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with onboarding of new clients and entities, including collation and review of CDD and preparation of risk assessments.
  • Liaising with compliance teams and monitoring outstanding CDD tasks.
  • Preparing periodic reviews and providing compliance advice to the business.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Supporting a positive compliance culture through training and awareness initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate client data and records across systems.
  • Leading or assisting with project work as required.
  • Acting as a mentor to junior staff under manager supervision.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years\' relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, funds, investments, or fiduciary business, together with strong knowledge of compliance and AML/CFT requirements. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, strong IT abilities, and the capacity to work to deadlines with high accuracy are essential.
