Role Overview

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will:

  • Lead site inspections, assessing building conditions and identifying defects.
  • Produce high‑quality, detailed reports with clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Manage projects across multiple sectors including prime residential, healthcare, education, heritage, and leisure.
  • Liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and stakeholders — acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Ensure compliance with all building regulations, statutory obligations, and H&S standards.
  • Maintain rigorous project documentation and uphold quality assurance processes.
About You
  • MRICS qualified (or actively working toward chartered status).
  • Proven experience leading surveys and managing multi‑sector projects.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and regulatory compliance.
  • Commercially astute, client‑focused, and confident in front of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient with CAD and industry‑standard surveying tools.
  • Highly organised, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented.
