• Chartered membership of RICS, CABE, or CIOB required.
• Relevant experience in Building Control essential.
• Experience with residential plan appraisals needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plan appraisals and site inspections.
• Develop existing client base in Oxfordshire.
• Conduct statutory consultations.

Skills

Chartered membership of an appropriate professional institution (RICS, CABE, CIOB)

Experience in the construction industry with relevant experience in Building Control

Experience of plan appraisal of residential developments

Awareness of forensic investigations of buildings

Ability to make pragmatic decisions on compliance

Ability to work with minimum supervision

Knowledge of environmental issues and relevant legislation
