Job summary

A leading university in London is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to support large-scale biobanking of blood samples for the Genetic Links to Anxiety and Depression (GLAD) Study. This full-time position requires expertise in DNA/RNA processing and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a cross-disciplinary research environment. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree or experience and will be skilled in handling genomic data, ensuring high standards in biobanking processes. Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a BSc and/or MSc in a relevant subject or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of DNA/RNA and blood processing techniques is required.
  • Experience with genomic data on Linux and R is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Support the large-scale biobanking of blood samples for the GLAD Study.
  • Ensure accurate sample tracking and data linkage.
  • Contribute to laboratory reports and maintain detailed records.
