You will shape strategy and influence senior stakeholders, while managing key client relationships and leading campaigns. A leading international professional services firm is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to play a central role in driving the growth of its Financial Services sector. This is an opportunity to shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders and lead high-impact initiatives across a fast-moving, expanding organisation.
Working closely with sector leadership, you will lead the development and delivery of the Financial Services BD strategy. You’ll identify growth opportunities, manage key client relationships, drive targeted campaigns, and coordinate activity across bids, marketing, PR and client teams. The role also includes budget ownership, market insight generation and performance reporting, as well as mentoring junior BD colleagues.
Shape sector business plans and support international growth priorities
Manage selected key client accounts and support strategic relationship development
Deliver sector campaigns and market-facing initiatives alongside your team
Coordinate cross-selling opportunities across the firm
Provide market research and commercial insights to inform strategy
Coach, support and oversee junior BD team members
Manage sector reporting and performance reviews
You will bring strong knowledge of the Financial Services sector, experience in strategic BD planning, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. You’ll be commercially minded, collaborative, highly organised, and confident leading bids, campaigns and client development activity. Experience managing or mentoring others is desirable.
