Job description

66kV Senior Authorised Person required for a major Offshore Wind Farm developer based in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe working practices are in place, reporting incidents, undertaking risk assessments and audits, promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
  • SAP duties as required reporting to Lead SAP.
  • Producing and reviewing switching schedules.
  • Provide isolations and safety documentation for the client.
  • Working under Equinor Renewable Electrical Safety Rules (Model Distribution Safety Rules).
  • Assisting in the testing and commissioning of HV / LV systems.
  • Provide personal supervision where required.
  • Conducting and reviewing risk assessments.
Requirements
  • Full GWO : Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
  • Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step.
  • Offshore HUET.
  • Knowledge of WTG WTSR.
  • Knowledge of Model Distribution Safety Rules.
  • Experience of WTGs, TPs, IACs and OSP / OSSs.
  • ONC / HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
  • Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66KV or above

33kV SAPs with multi-feed experience will also be considered.
