About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, strategic professional to join our CEO Office—someone who’s ready to help shape the future of the club and work right at the heart of our transformation.

You’ll be the go-to person for turning big ideas into real results. Working closely with the CEO, you’ll help keep our most important programmes on track, prepare decision-ready materials, and make sure our ambitions become reality. If you love solving problems, working with senior leaders, and making things happen, this could be the perfect fit.

What will you be doing?
  • Creating first class briefings, presentations, and decision papers for our Executive, Board, and owners.
  • Following up on action points from Board meetings and making sure and ensuring accountability.
  • Leading analysis and workstreams that turn strategy into measurable business outcomes.
  • Delivering special projects—on time, within budget, and with real impact.
  • Building financial and operational models to help guide big decisions.
  • Translating complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Designing KPI packs and tracking performance.
  • Working closely with teams across Football, Commercial, and Operations to make sure our strategies succeed.
Who are we looking for?
  • You will have solid experience in strategy consulting (MBB/T2/Big-4) or a similar industry role.
  • You’re a whizz with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • You know how to tell a story and write compelling and engaging narratives for C-suite stakeholders.
  • You’ll be great at structuring problems, analysing data, and managing stakeholders—even when things get busy.
  • You’ve got a degree in a relevant field (bonus points for business, management, or project management qualifications) or equivalent experience.
Location

This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with an expectation of working 3 days per week from the office. Please note, if you are not located in the Northeast and unable to relocate, we regret that we will not be able to progress your application.
