Job Title: Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor
Location: Manchester city centre (hybrid)
Salary: £60,000-£75,000 basic salary including car allowance + excellent benefits package

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is capable of leading a quantity surveying service line (now or in the future). Acting as the Lead Quantity Surveyor in the Manchester office, main duties include:

• Lead on commission management and client delivery.
• Chair and attend site and design meetings, providing expert cost and project advice.
• Prepare comprehensive cost advice in line with RICS guidance including:
  • Order of cost estimates
  • Viability reports
  • Formal cost plans
  • Cash-flow forecasts
  • Life cycle and whole life cost assessments
• Document handling and control to ensure full QA compliance.
• Oversee contracts, tender documentation, and procurement processes.
• Manage all facets of post-contract administration, including variations, contractor claims, interim valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts.
