Senior / Associate Civil Engineer – Water (Non-Infrastructure)

Location : 100% Remote from home or Hybrid in London or Birmingham

Salary : Senior £45k–£65k | Associate £60k–£81k + benefits

A fast-growing water consultancy is making a strategic hire. They want an experienced Senior Civil Engineer ready to step up, or an established Associate who wants more autonomy, quicker progression, and direct access to decision-makers.

If you’re tired of bureaucracy, boxed-in scopes or slow promotions — this is a chance to lead delivery, shape projects, and take technical ownership.

What you’ll lead
  • Civil design for WwTW, WTP and non-infrastructure schemes
  • Technical governance, QA and sign-off (Associate level)
  • Mentoring and developing engineers across the team
  • Multi-discipline coordination with MEICA, structural and process teams
  • Feasibility, outline / detailed design and construction support
  • Client meetings, workshops and influencing project direction
  • Input into bids, proposals and wider business planning
What you’ll bring
  • Chartered or working towards (ICE / IStructE / CIWEM)
  • 6–15 years’ UK water-sector experience
  • Strong background in non-infrastructure civils
