Due to our ongoing growth and expansion, we are looking for a talented individual to join us in the role of Management Accountant. You'll be working physically from Head Office for three days per week, with the flexibility to work from home for two days per week. We are looking for an analytical thinker that can overcome challenging financial obstacles and remain focussed in a high‑paced environment. You will have the ability to interpret and share financial analysis with your peers and stakeholders, specifically working closely with the Finance Manager – Record to Report to deliver a great service to the business and to look at any commercial implications to the business through various data and your ability to spot trends in accounts and act on them.

Responsibilities
  • Working closely with your general ledger team members to develop timely, accurate reporting of management accounts to the business and manufacturers.
  • Producing ad‑hoc reports where required, always providing sound management reporting to assist with key decision making.
  • Always looking for continuous improvement within the department, particularly within the development of the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Analysing and interpreting regular business performance information, reporting variances and using your ability to challenge assumptions in your department and the wider business.
  • Working closely with local finance and the business to deal with any ad‑hoc requests in a solution‑focused and timely manner.
  • Managing the submission of accounts from anything from 7 to 14 dealership locations.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar industry in a Management Accounting role.
  • A BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field.
  • A member of a professional accounting body (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, OROC, OCC or equivalent).
  • A structured and analytical thinker who can break down complex accounts offering a commercial view both positively and negatively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate, contribute and influence effectively with large teams, peers, managers and in virtual teams.
  • High integrity with a keen eye for accuracy and detail that builds trust in the analysis being provided to produce clear financial reports for a number of different stakeholders.
