Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and efficient working drawing packages with minimal supervision
  • Advise on environmental, building, and regulatory requirements affecting projects
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire regulations and other relevant legislation
  • Provide guidance on materials and conduct Designer Risk Assessments (CDM)
  • Coordinate with consultants, colleagues, and statutory authorities to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with design, legal, statutory, and professional standards
  • Coordinate detailed design information and liaise with statutory/local approval bodies
  • Work within Level 2 BIM processes using Revit
  • Manage work schedules, conduct inspections, source technical information, and assess buildability
  • Undertake Health and Safety Risk Assessments, prepare tender reports, carry out measured surveys, and adhere to QA procedures
Person Specification
  • Architectural Technology degree, HNC/HND, or BTEC qualification
  • CIAT or RIBA registration with several years of post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience in leading the delivery of production packages
  • Highly proficient in Revit (minimum three years' use as primary design tool)
  • Experience in NBS writing
  • Strong knowledge of UK construction law and building regulations
  • Structured, solution-focused thinker capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team
