Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple inspections of inbound items and documentation in order to verify product conformance to specification.
• Manage customer requests for release certification.
• Perform root cause analysis through direct customer & supplier interaction and support in issue resolution with speed and accuracy. Report observations/ problems clearly and concisely and take appropriate actions.
• Prepare, manage and analyze quality data; must be able to utilize inputs from multiple systems and business entities.
• Plan, conduct and execute assignments, reviewing progress and evaluating results.
• Determine and communicate corrective action requirements and internal processes.
• Conduct gap assessments to new and existing standards.

Education

• Required: High School Degree or Equivalent
• Preferred: High School Degree or Equivalent

Experience & Skills

• Inspection, operations, quality management experience.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Access, Visio and PowerBi.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Experience in fastener, wire & cable, network security, or utility industry preferred.
• Inspection and testing experience preferred
• Lean Six Sigma greenbelt preferred.
• Advanced PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Visio and PowerBi.

Working Environment

• General Office – Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
• Warehouse – Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally well ventilated and well lighted. Warehouse employees may be exposed to all kinds of weather and may be required to wear protective clothing. Operates heavy equipment. Strict safety regulations may be required.

• Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.
