A financial services firm in Aberdeen City is seeking an Accounting Assistant. This role involves preparing invoices, conducting asset and stock checks, and assisting with financial closing tasks. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and strong communication skills. This position requires the ability to work under pressure and detail-oriented applicants.

Prepare invoices / vouchers on a daily basis and support the account payables and receivables functions of the Finance Department
Perform annual spot check of Fixed Assets
Perform monthly surprise stock check and annual stock take
Assist in month end and year end closing matters and reconciliation
Report and provide support to Senior Accounting Officer
Perform ad hoc assignments as and when required
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or at least one year of relevant working experience
Able to work under pressure, and commit to reporting deadlines
Detailed-oriented and with strong sense of responsibilities
Well-organized, and a team player with the ability to work with parties across different departments
Self-motivated and independent with high integrity
Positive attitude with good communication skills
