Overview

Audit and accounting projects within a forward-thinking firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver audit assignments from planning through completion in line with deadlines and compliance standards.
• Prepare and finalise statutory accounts, tax, VAT, and PAYE submissions.
• Review and support junior staff, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Maintain strong client relationships, responding to queries with professionalism and a client-first attitude.
• Organise workload effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for managerial review.
• Ensure accurate logging of chargeable time and support effective fee recovery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in practice.
• ACA/ACCA qualified (or actively working towards qualification).
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting tools (e.g., Xero) is an advantage.
