Location: The Orpheus Centre, Godstone, Surrey
Salary: £25,750 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week, 44 weeks per year

The Role

As a SEND Work Experience Coach, you’ll play a vital role in supporting learners on their journey toward employment and community inclusion. You’ll:

  • Mentor and motivate learners to achieve their vocational goals.
  • Secure and manage meaningful work experience placements with external employers.
  • Provide tailored in-work support, using systematic instruction techniques to build independence.
  • Collaborate with employers and stakeholders to create bespoke opportunities.
  • Drive learners to placements and assist with progression planning.

This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same—you’ll be problem‑solving, networking, and making a real difference.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with young disabled adults in education or care settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and build positive relationships with employers.
  • A full driving licence.
  • Level 2 English and Maths (essential) and willingness to work towards Level 3 Certificate for Supported Employment Practitioners.
