SEND Teaching Assistant (TA)

Are you a highly passionate and experienced SEND TA?

Do you have extensive SEND experience, working with young people with complex needs?

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join an excellent specialist schools in Manchester. This is a TA position, offering support across the whole school on a 1:1 and small group intervention basis. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils with a range of complex additional needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive in their learning environment.

SEND Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver focused 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with SEND
• Provide flexible support across different classrooms and year groups as required
• Assist with personal care needs in a sensitive and respectful manner if needed
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to implement individualized learning plans
• Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular reviews and meetings
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil independence and confidence
