Qualifications

  • Experience working in LKS2 is preferred.

£324.90 - £360 per week

The School and Role

We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a small primary school in the Rural Northumberland area. This would be based in the Southeast Hexham area. Within this role you would be working as part of an established team in Key Stage 2. The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting a pupil in a mixed Year 3/4 class. This would be a one to one role. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am 13:15pm. Pupils who attend this school make excellent progress due to the outstanding quality of teaching and children feel very well supported and comfortable to share their ideas within the classroom.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • Experience of working in LKS2
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
