This inclusive special needs primary school caters to children aged 3 to 11 who have a range of learning difficulties and associated needs such as autism, physical challenges or sensory impairments. The staff — which includes speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, musicians, artists and sports leaders — work collaboratively to deliver personalised learning journeys and engaging experiences tailored to each child. With access to specialist facilities like a hydrotherapy pool, soft-play area and sensory spaces alongside outdoor learning environments, every pupil is supported to achieve their potential. As a SEND Teacher, you will lead a KS2 class of 10 pupils where you will plan and deliver an engaging, accessible curriculum tailored to the individual learning profiles of your students. Most of the children are pre‑verbal and have complex sensory & behaviour needs and are working below 2 years developmentally. • Excellent communication and relationship‑building with pupils, staff and parents/carers
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to innovate
What you'll get in return:
  • Supportive leadership and opportunity for development
  • Collaborative team environment with experienced colleagues
  • Pupils who are motivated, supported and valued in their learning journey
  • A school committed to inclusion, high standards, and positive outcomes for all
Requirements:

  • Professional references covering the last 2 years
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Valid photo ID & proof of address
