Job description

Hollywood Primary School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead SEN Teacher to join our inclusive and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need additional support to thrive.

About the Role
  • Lead the provision for 10 children across KS1 and KS2 within our Nest, designed for pupils who find mainstream classrooms challenging.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs (PPA time provided).
  • Ensure the classroom is prepared for learning before pupils arrive each day and ready for the next day before leaving.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider school team and attend staff meetings.
  • Manage and support two Teaching Assistants, fostering a positive and effective learning environment.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
