Position Summary

SEND Teacher
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Salary: £41,075 – £52,490 (M4–UPS3) + SEN Allowance
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (32.5 hrs/week)
Start Date: ASAP, Easter or September 2026

Southfield School is an inclusive and nurturing primary special school for pupils with a range of learning difficulties including Autism, Speech, Language & Communication Needs, and Global Developmental Delay. As our school continues to grow, we are seeking a passionate and committed SEND Teacher to join our dedicated team.

You will teach small classes of pupils working below age‑related expectations, supported by a strong multi‑disciplinary team. We offer excellent CPD opportunities, a collaborative staff culture, and the chance to make a meaningful difference to children and their families.
