Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking SEND Specialist Tutors in Plymouth. You will deliver individualized tuition to young people with SEND who struggle in mainstream education. The role is part-time, offering flexible hours, and requires QTS or equivalent along with UK classroom teaching experience. A creative and patient approach to tutoring is essential, as well as experience with disengaged learners. Pay starts at £25 per hour, negotiable.

Qualifications

• Possess UK classroom teaching experience.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in education.
• Support and re-engage students in their learning.
• Work closely with the agency to monitor pupil progress.
