Overview

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a day nursery in Nottingham that focuses on child engagement with a therapeutic approach. The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3/Level 2 gold qualified Nursery Practitioner, on a long‑term basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and could be required to work across all rooms, supporting children from 6 weeks to 4 years. In a time of growth, career progression opportunities are also available.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with SEND children and support all ages in the nursery.
• Deliver the Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) curriculum.
• Collaborate with managers and colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Participate in staff training and development.

Requirements

• Level 3 or Level 2 gold qualified Nursery Practitioner.
• Experience working with SEND children.
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
