We are seeking a qualified SEN Tutor to join our team in Leicester, East Midlands. As an SEN Tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide specialised educational support to students with special educational needs (SEN). You will work closely with students, parents, and other professionals to create tailored learning plans and ensure the academic and personal development of each student.

  • Assessing students' individual needs and developing personalised learning programmes
  • Delivering one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions
  • Implementing strategies to support students with SEN in the classroom
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborating with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Specialist knowledge in SEN
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of SEN legislation and best practises

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
