Job summary

A specialist educational support role in Wallsend seeks a dedicated SEN Tutor for KS1 and KS2 students. The ideal candidate will provide 1:1 tutoring tailored to children's needs, helping them overcome learning barriers in a safe environment. Qualifications

  • Experience supporting primary-aged children with SEN is ideal but not essential.
  • Ability to travel to Wallsend regularly is required.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on child workforce is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small group tuition for KS1 & KS2 students with SEN.
  • Adapt lessons in Maths, English, and general learning.
  • Track progress and update parents and carers.
