This long-term role involves supporting a small group of pupils with ASD, behavioural challenges and Developmental Language Disorder, while also helping deliver phonics sessions as part of the school's early reading programme. For the right candidate, this position has real potential to become permanent.

What the School Is Looking For
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting pupils with ASD, behaviour regulation and communication needs
  • Confident delivering phonics, ideally including Little Wandle or similar programmes
  • Ability to support learning in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early literacy development
  • A calm, consistent and positive approach to behaviour management
  • Team-focused, proactive and committed to supporting pupil progress
